In the heart of Biel, right on Bahnhofplatz, we want to give our guests what makes a restaurant visit worthwhile in our eyes: honest food, warm hospitality and an atmosphere in which you feel at ease.

Our wood-fired oven is at the centre of our kitchen. The fire, the heat and the smell of a freshly baked pizza have been part of Pizzeria Seeland for many years. Our pizzas are made by hand and baked straight in the wood-fired oven – crisp, fresh and with that unmistakable taste only real fire can give.

But Pizzeria Seeland is more than pizza. From pasta and Italian classics to meat and fish dishes and seasonal specialities, we care about good ingredients, careful preparation and quality you can taste.

Pizzeria Seeland is and remains a family business. What Naser Asani once built with courage, hard work and passion, we carry on together today. Even though Naser has eased off a little in the meantime, he is still very much part of it. He drops by regularly, he is there for us, and with his experience and his character he remains an important part of our house.

Today the day-to-day running of the restaurant is in the hands of Nazif Asani. But there is more than one person behind Pizzeria Seeland. His brother Blerim Asani is closely connected to the restaurant as well. Each of us has lived and carried the story of the pizzeria in his own way.

And our long-standing team is part of it too. Many of our staff have been with us for years, some since the very beginning. That loyalty and that sense of togetherness mean a great deal to us. Because what our guests experience every day does not come from one individual, but from people who pull together and put their heart into it.
